Founded in 2016, Konexio is a France-based social startup that empowers vulnerable people with financial self-reliance through training in digital skills and facilitating access to jobs. Historically, Konexio has worked primarily with refugees, unemployed youth, and vulnerable women. This internship is housed within the International Team, which operates digital skills training and livelihoods projects in Africa and the Middle East. Konexio is a registered non-profit.
Role Description
We are seeking an intern to support the programs and curriculum team. This remote role will coordinate with team members in Europe, Africa, and Asia. A high degree of autonomy and ownership is expected in this role, and the flexibility to wear multiple hats. Familiarity with trends in the digital sector and the ability to engage productively in a digital world is a must.
This is a flexible role that will depend on the needs of Konexio’s students. Interns can expect to support curriculum development, program operations, and online training. This is an excellent role to learn about how non-profits deliver training, and would be a good fit for students exploring careers in international development, HR and DEI, or vocational education and training.
Ideal candidates are self-confident and able to thrive in a demanding and fast-paced environment. They take a results-based approach, communicate clearly, and are comfortable managing up.

Qualifications- Who we’re looking for:

Education: Master’s and recently graduated bachelor’s students preferred.
Preferred fields:
● Business, HR, management, corporate sustainability, or related
● International development, economics, or related
● Education, or related
Location: Remote
Hours: School year - 15-20 hrs/wk; Summer - full time
Stipend: Available for internships of 4+ months. €500/mo for full time; prorata for part time
Duration: 1 school term (spring, summer, fall) with possibility of continuation

Responsibilities
Curriculum development and student support:
- Edit classroom slides and exercises, organize educational materials
- Review student assessments, projects, CVs, and proposals and provide feedback
- Bonus points for video editing and design experience
- Bonus points for translation experience
Research and Analysis:
- Conduct research on latest digital job trends, analyze job market needs, develop ideas to make concepts accessible and engaging to students
- Conduct benchmarks, internet research, and fact-finding that guides K’s operational and business strategy
Coordination:
- Support logistics for training events and conferences, research and compile preparatory info, track and conduct follow ups
- Support in administrative and organizational tasks
- Coordinate with other Konexio teams on cross-functional projects
